Sleepy Support

Here is a Blogger-ready support post based on the structure of your Pickleball Court Timer support page.

Sleepy Support

Sleepy is a music sleep timer, alarm clock, and bedside clock for iPhone.

You can create a playlist from songs in your Music library, gradually reduce the music volume while falling asleep, and configure an alarm to play music at your chosen wake-up time.

  • A screenshot, if it helps explain the problem

Getting Started

  1. Tap the Music button to open the playlist.
  2. Add songs from your Music library.
  3. Use the Sleep settings to choose a sleep timer duration, starting volume, and volume-fading profile.
  4. Use the Alarm settings to choose your wake-up time, alarm duration, starting volume, and volume profile.
  5. Use the Settings button to select the clock type, colour, appearance, and other display options.
  6. Return to the main clock screen and start the sleep timer when you are ready.

Sleepy needs permission to access your Music library so that it can display, select, and play your songs.

Sleep Timer

The sleep timer plays your selected music for the configured amount of time.

Depending on the selected volume profile, Sleepy can:

  • Keep the volume constant
  • Reduce the volume gradually
  • Reduce the volume using an exponential curve
  • Reduce the volume in steps
  • Apply the corresponding increasing profiles where available

When the sleep timer reaches zero, music playback stops.

Use the reset button to return the timer to its configured duration.

Alarm

The alarm can be configured with separate initial wake-up times for weekdays and weekends.

You can also configure:

  • Whether the wake-up alarm is enabled
  • The alarm playback duration
  • The initial alarm volume
  • The volume profile used while the alarm is playing

For reliable overnight operation:

  • Leave Sleepy open on its main clock screen.
  • Do not force-quit the app.
  • Keep your iPhone connected to power overnight.
  • Make sure the device volume is set appropriately.
  • Confirm that the selected songs are available on the device.

Sleepy keeps the iPhone awake while its main screen is running so that the sleep timer and alarm can operate.

Clock Display

Sleepy provides several bedside clock styles, including:

  • Standard digital clock
  • Segmented digital clock
  • Analog clock

The analog clock can display no numerals, the 3, 6, 9 and 12 numerals, or all hour numerals.

The clock colour and appearance can be changed in Settings. Sleepy supports both light and dark appearances and adjusts the clock brightness over time to reduce unnecessary light at night.

Music Playback Controls

The main screen includes controls for:

  • Previous song
  • Stop
  • Play
  • Next song

The playlist screen lets you add, remove, reorder, and clear selected songs.

Songs must be available through your iPhone’s Music library. Availability may depend on your Apple Music subscription, download status, and Apple account.

Troubleshooting

Music does not play

  • Confirm that Sleepy has permission to access your Music library.
  • Check that your iPhone volume is turned up.
  • Open the playlist and confirm that songs have been added.
  • Make sure the selected songs are still available in your Music library.
  • If using Apple Music, confirm that your subscription is active.
  • Try playing the affected song in Apple’s Music app.

The alarm does not play

  • Confirm that Wake Up Time is enabled in Alarm Settings.
  • Check the configured weekday or weekend wake-up time.
  • Confirm that the alarm duration is greater than zero.
  • Make sure songs are present in the Sleepy playlist.
  • Leave Sleepy open on the main clock screen overnight.
  • Do not force-quit the app.
  • Check the iPhone’s current volume before going to sleep.

The volume does not change as expected

  • Check the selected volume profile.
  • Confirm the initial volume setting.
  • Make sure the sleep timer or alarm has enough time for the selected profile to become noticeable.
  • Check the iPhone’s system volume.

A selected song is no longer available

A song may become unavailable if it has been removed from the Music library, is no longer downloaded, or is no longer available through Apple Music.

Remove the unavailable song from Sleepy’s playlist and add it again from your Music library.

The app does not behave as expected

  • Close and reopen Sleepy.
  • Check the sleep and alarm settings.
  • Restart the iPhone.
  • Install the latest version of Sleepy when an update is available.
