Privacy Policy for Sleepy

Sleepy respects your privacy. Sleepy is a music sleep timer and alarm clock. The app does not require you to create an account.

Information Collection

Sleepy does not collect, store, sell, or transmit personal information to the developer or to developer-operated servers.

The app does not collect:

• Your name, email address, or phone number
• Your location
• Contacts or photos
• Advertising identifiers
• Usage analytics or diagnostic tracking data

Music Library Access

Sleepy requests permission to access your device’s Music library. This access is used only to:

• Display songs available on your device
• Allow you to select songs for sleep and alarm playback
• Play the selected songs
• Display song information such as title, artist, album, duration, and artwork

Sleepy stores the identifiers of selected songs locally on your device so your playlist can be restored when you reopen the app.

Sleepy does not upload your Music library, selected songs, or listening activity to the developer or to developer-operated servers.

Music playback and Music library access use Apple’s system services and are subject to the Apple Privacy Policy.

Information Stored on Your Device

Sleepy stores preferences locally on your device, including:

• Selected songs and their playlist order
• Sleep timer and alarm settings
• Alarm and sleep durations
• Volume and fading profiles
• Clock style, colour, and appearance preferences
• Light and dark mode preferences
• Playback position and selected song index

This information is used only to provide the app’s functionality. It is not used to identify you and is not transmitted to the developer.

Local app data may be included in device backups managed by Apple, depending on your iCloud or device backup settings.

Analytics, Advertising and Tracking

Sleepy does not contain:

• Advertising
• Third-party analytics
• Tracking technologies
• Third-party advertising SDKs

Sleepy does not track your activity across other apps or websites.

Data Sharing

Sleepy does not share personal information with third parties because it does not collect or transmit personal information to the developer.

Data Retention and Deletion

Settings and selected song identifiers remain on your device until you change them, clear the app’s data, or delete the app.

Deleting Sleepy removes its locally stored data from the device, subject to any backups maintained by Apple.

Support Communications

If you contact the developer by email, your email address and the information you provide will be used only to respond to your enquiry. Support correspondence may be processed by the email services used by you and the developer.

Privacy Policy Website

This privacy policy is hosted using Google Blogger. Google may process information about visitors to the website, including cookies and technical information, according to the Google Privacy Policy.

This website activity is separate from the Sleepy app. Sleepy itself does not use Google services, cookies, or website tracking.

Data Security

Sleepy does not maintain a remote user-account database or developer-operated server containing your settings or Music library information.

Access to information stored locally by the app is protected by the security features provided by iOS and your device.

Children’s Privacy

Sleepy does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This privacy policy may be updated if Sleepy’s features or privacy practices change. Any updated policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
